The vacancy for Headteacher at Caldecote CE Academy is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and committed practitioner seeking their first headship.  Candidates will be supported in undertaking NPQH once in post if appropriate.

The Trust provides a welcoming and supporting atmosphere in which Headteachers are challenged and supported in equal measures in order to promote the best education and educational experience for children attending schools in the Trust.

There is a thriving Headteacher group which meets regularly and allows Headteachers to drive and contribute to Trust-wide policy.  All Headteachers in the MAT are valued and their ideas are welcomed, regardless of their level of experience or time in post.

As part of the expansion and growth of the Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust, a vacancy has arisen for a Lead Practitioner for Year 5/6 at Kensworth CE Academy.  This is an ideal position for an ambitious and committed practitioner seeking career progression and the opportunity to develop and work with senior leaders in a Multi-Academy Trust to shape and enhance provision across Years 5 and 6 trust-wide.

In the first instance, the post will be based at Kensworth CE Academy with a teaching commitment and time to undertake the lead practitioner role.  It is envisaged that the teaching commitment will be a maximum of 0.8.  The teaching commitment is to cover a maternity vacancy.

The ideal candidate will have Level 2 DSP (Designated Safeguarding Person) training or be willing to undertake this training once in post.
