Schools joining DSAMAT will transfer to the Trust’s central finance system, PS Financials, and use its associated software. 95% of budget share will be delegated to each Academy in the Trust along with responsibility for any local historic Trust funds associated with each Academy.
All staff in existing schools joining the Trust will retain their existing terms and conditions of employment through the TUPE process. New employees will be employed on centralised DSAMAT contracts that include the Trust’s own terms and conditions of employment.
Academies will have access to a range of shared policies relating to accounting, HR, Health and Safety and Safeguarding. It is expected that they will gradually adopt these centralised policies in key areas over an agreed period of time.
